Pinball Expo 2008 – preview
While I’m a big vid fan, I do love a good game of pinball. The annual Pinball Expo is held in the Chicago land area and missing out on a chance to play so many pins is just not an option. I ran down to the Westin Hotel for the first day of the show just to pick up my pass and ticket for the Stern Tour today at 9:45am. I wasn’t expecting so much to be set up and ended up staying until after 11pm. There were a couple virtual pins, a Hercules, and lots of rare stuff. Looks like this is going to be another fantastic event. I only had my cell phone to take pictures and they aren’t perfect, but here’s a look at the Expo before everything is set and the rooms are full of people. Enjoy!

Went on the Stern pinball plant tour today with Chris Moore. These pictures and the tour today have only increased my excitement about attending the expo tomorrow night.

@Ping: The game is very neat to look at and watch, but it sure is slow to play. The ball is so huge that it seems to take forever to get anything going on the playfield. Still, a very interesting piece of pinball history.
