I put the bolts into the corrugated edge because it holds them securely. I can then hold and turn the cardboard at any angle, hitting all the surfaces and making quick work of the paint job.

My primary motivation is simple, I really enjoy doing it. Sometimes more than playing the game itself. I love taking games apart, understanding how it all works and putting it back together. A pristine game room would be nice, but I think takeman's got that one locked up.

Why did you put the bolts through the corrugation on the side of the cardboard? Instead of right through the board itself, popping them through?

That shine on those parts is ridiculous.

I don't think I've ever asked you. When you go through all this work of 'restoring' each part and piece of an arcade game to look nice, what is the motivation? Is it personal? Worth found in the job of doing it? Is it to have a perfect pristine looking gameroom? Or is it to increase the value of the game? Maybe it's a little bit of each, but if that is the case which is most powerful?

I just noticed that I wired the door incorrectly. Good thing I was paying attention.
