Stocked up on Token Mechs

It wouldn’t be right to have my arcade run on anything but tokens. My fondest memories of the old Aladdin’s Castle located at the HIP (Harlem Irving Plaza), was putting in my dollar and getting a handful of tokens. Those cool, custom Aladdin’s Castle tokens. Most of the time it was just 4, but I remember the specials when you’d get 6! Those were the days. A smelly, smokey game room, flashing lights and arcade sounds and the token machine plinking out tokens in the background. It just didn’t get any better. (more…)

Building a stand for my Rowe BC150 changer

I had been on the hunt for a decent change machine at auctions, on eBay and  Craigslist.  I went and looked at a few, but most of the time they are really beat and not working and I really didn’t want another project.  I finally found this one from an ad off Craigslist and bought it for about $200, fully working.
