While looking for monitor flow charts, I stumbled upon this website that showcases a handful of amazing arcade cabinets with rotating monitors. Now I had heard about cabinets where the monitor can be rotated, such as the 19″ Dynamo cabinets, but they are nothing like these little beauties.

With the Dynamo’s, you have to pull the monitor out and remount it in the new orientation, which is a pain and the reason so many MAME builders either build two cabs, one large cab with an over sized monitor, or one of these wild auto rotating cabinets. The Nevada Magic has some type of mechanism that allows you to rotate the monitor while its still mounted in the cab!

Sure it still takes a little effort, but not much. What’s even more amazing is that it looks like the Nevada Magic cab is a commercial machine. Is it from the 90′s, late 80′s or some recent production? I couldn’t find any info on Magic by Nevada at KLOV or any of the usual sources, but it appears that these cabs are in Sweden, so maybe it was specific to that market. I would like to find out more about these cabinets if you have any information or more pictures, let me know. If you want to check out the website where I found the pics, please check out heffa.net, thanks and enjoy!

UPDATE: The flyer scans were sent to me by the site owner, Håkan, thanks! You can find them HERE.
