This was the reward for completing the Arcade Aid challenge and guessing all 56 video games hidden throughout the city. I managed to get about 47 without help, not too bad. The ENCOM employee badge arrived in about a week and has an employee ID number, scan code and cool holographic sticker. For a give away item, this thing is fantastic. The Tron control panel overlay by Willis was a decent attempt at capturing the feel of the original cabinet design in an aftermarket product. A step up from some of the random artwork jumbles commonly seen in bootleg artwork, this cpo was produced by Willis in 1983 with quality materials and an attention to detail. The recent release of reproduction Tron handles has caused quite a stir in the collecting community. NOS handles are difficult to find and command a premium when they do pop up for sale. The fact that Randy over at GroovyGameGear is selling his “factory original” reproductions for a mere $24.95, with a trigger and top screw, is a big deal.
